Spike TV taps Spark Factory’s spankin’ new division – Spark Factory Entertainment - to produce a 30-minute special for the action thriller Elektra, starring Jennifer Garner.

Spike TV saw in Elektra and its star, Jennifer Garner, a perfect one-two punch to draw their core male audience. Spark Factory’s task was to showcase the flick’s kick-ass action and its red-hot star in a 30-minute special that satisfied hard core Spikesters. Ahhh…take a big whiff…Spike TV’s Hot Buttered Movie Special: Elektra was born!

Spark Factory Entertainment’s team went to work building a one-of-a-kind interview set for Jennifer Garner, tapping into the Zen roots of Elektra’s martial-arts background. Using Jennifer’s unique interview footage as a narrative guide, the special takes viewers into the world of Elektra with cast and crew interviews and behind the scenes footage. What takes Spike TV’s Hot Buttered Movie Special to new heights are questions from true Elektra fans answered by Jennifer herself, plus an Elektra sneak peek, exclusively for Spike viewers.
